Passionate about helping you grow and heal

Mission

Grounded Healing and Wellness strives to help others become in touch with the worthiness and wholeness of their Self.

Focusing on the present moment with goal oriented interventions we aim to increase each clients ability to listen to their body and mind while they learn to trust themselves regardless of feelings, thoughts, expectations, beliefs, or attitudes.

We are inclusive therapists who strive to provide a positive environment to all people and bodies who are deserving of culturally responsive and affirming care.

Meet Danielle

She/Her

Danielle Gardea practices under the belief that the greatest healing and self-awareness can come from first connecting to ourselves. By using techniques from the therapy model Solution Focused Therapy she incorporates existing strengths and resources into each client’s process of healing. She strives to empower clients with tools that help focus on the here and now, be in the present moment with mindfulness skills and help increase a sense of clarity when in threatening situations. She provides insight on how the brain and body respond to threats to help increase awareness of emotions and what the body may be experiencing. Danielle aims to provide a safe, affirming, culturally sensitive, relatable, and supportive environment with trauma informed care and unconditional positive regard.

Danielle is available in person or through virtual Telehealth sessions for adults 18 and over.

Meet Steve

He/Him

Steve’s approach to counseling begins with asking three questions: What is working well? What are you currently worried about? What needs to change? His primary counseling style is Solution Focused Therapy, in which he focuses on the present and what can be done in the immediate future to address the problem at hand. Whether this is your first experience with counseling or you’ve gone through counseling before, he is here to work with you, support you, and help you address your goals and needs. Steve’s goal is to create a safe environment where you can feel free to open up and explore what is affecting you now, what has worked for you before, and what can be done to make the situation better.

Steve is available for virtual Telehealth sessions for adults and teens.
