Free Event

On the 4th anniversary of the Walmart shooting, you are invited to the grounds of the Magoffin Home State Historic Site for a very special community event. Danielle Gardea, LPC-S and Sigal Govrin, LPC, ATR-BC, from Creative Healing Workshops, will lead guests in helping you navigate grief, soothing the body, and have an art therapy session to focus on coping with and managing grief. Many of us have experienced loss on a deep level. Some of us may struggle with it. Danielle and Sigal will explore the bad and the good with this complex emotion, and guide us through our grief through art, creativity, and mindfulness. Art materials will be provided.

Please call 915-533-5147 or email magoffin-home@thc.texas.gov in advance to reserve your spot.
